Margaret Lennis Schmick Taylor
West Palm Beach, FL. — Margaret Lennis Schmick Taylor passed away Sunday, January 15. She was 82 years old.
Margaret was born in Preston, Maryland on September 1, 1934, and was the youngest of nine children. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Robert Leslie Taylor. They were married on July 13, 1955 in Heidelberg, Germany, where he was stationed in the United States Army.
Throughout her life, she enjoyed spending time with her family, creating ceramic artwork, playing the organ, baking, and camping and traveling the country.
She is survived by her four children, Raymond Leslie (Lisa Blake) of West Palm Beach, Donald Keith (Laurel Crandal, deceased) of Lake Worth, Lawrence Earl (Denise Corbin) of Panama City, and Glenn Kevin (Kari Trama) of Lexington, SC; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Margaret is also survived by two siblings, Lawrence Schmick of Denton, MD and Glenn Schmick of Preston, MD.
Six siblings are deceased, Frieda Marie, Ruth Ellis, Ellen Baker, Bertha Anne, Martina Bennett, and Sherman J. Schmick.
Funeral services will be held at 11:45 a.m.. Mon. January 23 at Palm Beach National Chapel, Lake Worth, Florida. The interment will be in Lake Worth, Florida at South Florida National Cemetery at 12:45p
