William "Bill" Schecter of Boynton Beach passed away on July 13, 2017 at the age of 88. He was the beloved husband of Evonne for 64 years. He leaves behind 3 children, his daughters Denise Hooper and her husband Terry, Bonnie Stein and her husband Doug, and his son Howard Schecter and his wife Diane. He also leaves behind his sister Marlene Brumbaugh and her husband Blaine. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He was a Korean War veteran and served in the 101st Airborne Division.
He devoted his life to his family and his greatest pleasures were going to the beach and Disney World.
Services are being held on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 9:00am. Interment to follow at the National Cemetery.
