Obituary for
Jacob Pfau
Jacob Pfau, 90, of Leesburg, FL passed away on May 7, 2017 in Delray Beach, FL. Originally from Fair Lawn, NJ, Jacob and his beloved wife, Elizabeth, relocated to Leesburg after retirement. Jacob proudly served our Nation during WWII with the Navy and later in life found passions for golf and woodworking. He cherished the time he could spend with his family.
Survived by his children, Christine Cahill, Catherine Stewart, Anne (Louis) Plocker, Philip (Stephanie) Pfau, Patricia (Lynn) Walker, and Thomas (Karen) Pfau; 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and his sister, Rosemary Schafer. Jacob was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth, in January.
Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Palm Beach National Chapel with burial to follow at South Florida National Cemetery at 11:15 A.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for donations in Jacob's memory to be made to No One Buried Alone, 5715 Lake Ida Road, Delray Beach, FL 33484.
