Col. Edward Harlan Forbes, USAF Retired, 84, of Margate, FL passed away on April 10, 2017. Born in St. Louis, MO on December 11, 1932 to Adolph and Rose Forbstein, the family relocated to Springfield where Ed grew up. After graduating with a Bachelors degree from University of Missouri, Ed joined the United States Air Force. He proudly served for 30 years and retired to Destin, FL in 1985 but he didn't stop working; Ed continued on as a marketing executive for a flooring company. The company had him relocate once again to South Florida where he settled in Margate, FL.

Ed is survived by his wife, Judith Forbes; his sister, Joan (John) Cutnell; nephews, Joel and David; and his sister-in-law, Ann Saterfield.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:15 P.M. on Monday, April 17, 2017 at South Florida National Cemetery where full Honors will be rendered.
